Ive mentioned the feral cats who live outside my apt. Spent many months earning their trust, feeding them occasional cheese, etc. Both had kittens, the neighbor took one in (and all the kittens as the other seemed disinterested in being a Mom.) The other still hangs around outside. Twice this week I closed my patio door, shut off the lights & went to bed. Woke up to the cat inside - the other day she was standing on my bed, meowing & looking at me. I let her out. So far no fleas, no bad smells. Now she rubs against my ankles & lets me pet her, a little. Then runs away. (Reminds me of my attempts at dating.) Kinda creepy, in a nice cat-loving sorta way.
