Ive never been naked... My innocence, coming into this life, was a lie. I was already cloaked by betrayal, before I took my first breath... This life has been a long game of strip poker, losing, one by one, each article of clothing, Id arrived with, on April 9, 1960. Ive outgrown the hand-me-down hat of limitation, the coat of armor, the trousers of mistrust, the blouse of expectation, the boots of shame, the undergarments of misunderstanding and the tattooed heart on my sleeve. I am naked. But, not afraid..... I will walk, as myself, into the infinite, forever.
