Ive never been the type of artist to fill up sketchbook after sketchbook with doodles and random studies. I always admired those who could do that...I just cant. I lose interest. The blank pages scare me. What I am going to bring back though is the spirt of the Black Book! Back when graffiti was at its high in the 80s / 90s, artists used to pass around their black books (sketchbooks basically) to other graff writers / artists to leave their mark. I always loved this idea and what better way then to get some original work from some of my idols / fellow artists. Very excited!! Im writing this here so I dont forget.
