Ive never felt so helpless in my life as I did today. Found out my son is being bullied in school and I have broken down sobbing about 3 times. For everyone that knows Jared knows he is such a sweet kind kid. I went to parent lunch and he doesnt talk to anyone and doesnt have many friends. He then opened up to me about what has been going on and I tried so hard not to cry. Didnt work at all as I was letting his teacher know. There are so many benefits to him being here but this awful school is not one of them. Its not the teachers fault just the quality of children at the school and in his class. I feel so downright helpless and mad. I miss Fort Riley elementary so much and the wonderful friends he had Melody Tucker Thielmann Keely Wood Courtney Choy. Looks like private school is the only option and Im very thankful my dad is going to make this happen. Yes I understand that bullying happens everywhere and I cant protect him 24/7 but I damn for sure can make it so he has an amazing education as well is with other children that have the same goals.
