Ive never in my life been moved by the prospect of working for a charity as I have after learning of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. This nonprofits goal is to provide parents facing the inevitable loss of a newborn with some solace and memoriam by providing portraits of them with their child. Some may call it macabre, but this video proves the importance of these photos to families facing loss of a child. Im going to take a webinar on volunteering as a photog and sign up to shoot for families in the DFW area. I urge photographer friends everywhere to look at this, and to think about doing the same.
