Ive never intended for my Facebook page to be a place where donations for this and for that were requested. Its always been a place where we can just..do life with people really. In that..I have realized that being involved in each others lives..means you are presented with lots of opportunities to help those who are hurting around you. In this world..everywhere you turn there is sickness..tragedy..and heartache. Part of keeping God alive continuing to spread His love to mankind. Its a commandment. Carry each others burdens. Its impossible to help everyone..but to give when you are able..with what you are able. And while Ive shared many..many peoples stories..and how to come beside them..and will continue to..sometimes..the people who need your help..are your people. Its not always strangers..or acquaintances. Sometimes..its your own. And where that happens..there is pride. Pride to keep climbing by yourself..and never ask for help. But..there are cases where that pride must end. The people in this picture have been loving me since I was 15 years old. Jason and I would NEVER have the life we have..if it werent for them..and my parents. My mom and dad by marriage..gave us the house we live in..for ONE penny. Then they helped us with smashed thumbs..and big tears for years to make it a home. They constantly love..and pour into our girls. .and there is no chance of there being better in laws out there. My dad in law lost his job in June. And with that..his insurance.The last two months have been a downward spiral for them. Janet was suddenly diagnosed with glaucoma and has undergone several emergency surgeries..and last week Allan was hospitalized for what we thought was a spider bite that resulted in the amputation of his toe. And maybe more to come. They are now drowning with one income..and mounds of medical bills. I refuse to publish the needs of strangers..and not do the same when it is my own family. I will squash pride. They have exhaustingly rallied for so..so many in their lifetime. Prayers for them is most important. Everyone can do that. You can also give here if you feel led to help.
