Ive never liked Dick Cheney, really kind of had a general dislike. He toured the MCB I was stationed at back in the early 90s, and I got within 20 feet, and even as a relatively young Marine I got a very strong negative from the guy and his entourage (Secretary of Defense at the time)!!! I watched a good chunk of the Charlie Rose interview of Cheney tonight and Im struck (still a distaste) with the soundness of his concerns about our country and the damage the Obama Administration is doing / has done. Our waning influence in the Middle East, growing Global distrust of America, growing American Distrust of our President and Government, a damaged relationship with Israel and steadily growing worse, a President that apparently knows little about (purports to) what goes on in the IRS, the Dept of Justice, and the State Department, and that makes promises to the citizenry that he cant keep (by mistake or ignorance -- he said you can keep your doctor and Insurance Provider/Policy Period. -- and now many cant)!!! I hate to agree with the guy, hes creepy and dark in my opinion, but hes not stupid, and hes sharp as a tack. What a mess.
