Ive never needed or required the attention of the male species to measure my self worth. Ive tried to teach the young ladies Ive coached or known over the years to do the same. To love themselves(not in an arrogant or egotistical way) but to know that they dont require someones attention to feel validated as a human being in any way, shape, or form. I find myself in unchartered territory at 45 where Im not being true to myself and who I really am. It dawned on me as I faced this difficult decision, what would I tell my girls???? The answer became so clear.....we often make situations far more complicated than they are and Im happy being me.....wouldnt want to be any other way. So Im taking the higher moral ground and for no one but me. We all have our virtues and our vices and I judge no one for theirs. To each his own. Think of me what you will but at the end of the day all that matters is what I think of myself. Im choosing me!!!! I hope you choose you!!!
