Ive never seen a paid Youtube ad that was addressed to a head of state. This was made available on the Korean internet, without Korean subtitles. My two take aways: 1) The economist gives lots of good advice to Park Geun-hye on social freedoms and international relations in South Korea, but it borders on and then steps well over hypocrisy for 21st century America, with its own shortcomings (Yes, Im American), to point such a finger at another country. Yet only a fool could disagree with him. Perhaps thats why they have an economist, and not the White House Press Secretary saying it. 2) He mentions that her father, former dictator Park Chung-hee pocketed $800 million given to Korea as and along with an official apology for WWII including the comfort women. You cannot find any mention of that in Korean society. In fact, the company line in Korea is that there never has been an apology, but if there was one it was insincere. Almost a billion dollars in todays dollars is considerable. I would love to find more information about that. It makes me wonder if why there is so much brainwashing here to indicate the opposite of what the economist says. youtube/watch?v=nEvDZODg2WA
