Ive never seen such whining and moaning in all my life! We have been begging the Governor to pay attention to the Common Core ills and listen to parents. Yesterday he finally does and he even is appointing the AG to look into if it is legal or not and a whole bunch of other things like having universities in the state weigh in. Is his plan perfect? No. Will it get the debate started? Yes! I dont trust Gov. Herbert, he had a chance to listen early on and he didnt. Shame on him for that! But something changed his mind and he is willing to put together the right people to look at it, including parents! But do we take the Olive Branch and roll up our sleeves and try to find a solution? No! We would rather whine and moan and b**ch about it over on the Utahans Against Common Core page and pick apart everything the governor has proposed to get the ball rolling for honest, open discussion. If you dont want a place at the table for the debate, then fine! But shut up and get out of the way and let those of us who do get on with the real work of fixing this mess! Shame on us!
