Ive never seen this footage before of early Three Dog Night. Three of the best rock voices ever...and all in the same band. Youd leave their shows all energized and ready to take on the world. If you were lucky enough to ever see them you know what Im talking about! I recall watching Cory Wells singing Try A Little Tenderness one time where he must have belted the hold her, squeeze her.... lines over and over for five minutes or more. I cant remember exactly....I just know it was long enough for Chuck Negron to stand just off stage and smoke a cigarette! One of the crew said something to Chuck and pointed at Cory. Chuck smiled and just shook his head.....and I smiled...because it meant that Cory was off the charts that night....even to the band! The final song of the show was an absolutely smoking version of Laura Nyros Elis Comin. The room was full of long tables.....and every tabletop was packed full of girls dancing.....crazy good!
