Ive no idea of the pain my mother endured 65 years ago to bring me into this world. I have, however, heard of the adventure my older sister had saving me from a cow as she brought me home from the hospital. For all the pain I caused others . . . it is good to usher in my birthday by joining our regular Friday mid-night prayer meeting. Normally it begins at 10 pm and goes on till 2 am. But today, since Dr.Lal is not there, we are likely to finish by 1 am! The time is secondary - a fresh anointing for the next year is what I crave - that the river of life-giving water - love - may flow through me. (Romans 5:5;) How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. (Psalm 37: 7-9)
