Ive not said much during the election or in the days after, but this message from the Cotton campaign sparked a few observations: According to his campaign team, he won because they kept to a singular message- connecting Senator Pryor to President Obama. I interpret this as few if any new ideas for moving the country forward, but Cotton will be against the guy you hate. Also his team said their polling showed Cotton in a comfortable lead over Senator Pryor since July. So why overspend and now have to beg for funds from the people? I realize campaigns of this magnitude are expensive, but I really dont want to hear about fiscal responsibility from a guy who seemingly spent more than he had when he knew he was already winning. I just hope his wealthy friends can bail him out because his poor and middle class supporters may need that money in the years ahead.
