Ive noticed than many of our new members are from Africa, mashaAllah. Our community in Southern California, is blessed with a Shaykh originating from Somalia. The first time I heard him recite from the Quran, I started to cry. There is so much emotion in his recitation. He also recites some surahs Somali Style and its really amazing, mashaAllah. He then moved to Egypt where he learned the Arabic language and attended an Islamic School. His schooling in Egypt is where he gained a deeper understanding and love of the Holy Qur’an.
