Ive noticed that all the birds I have collected on another part of the Galapagos Islands slightly differ from ones on this part of the island. The finches astonished me because they all look like theyve came from a common ancestor, but have different beaks. This makes me think that once the species are on the island, they establish themselves and determine their territories. The finches I observed had adapted to the islands and the specific environments where they live. Things brings me to conclude Theory of Natural Selection, which is where the strongest species survive and reproduce, increasing the strength of the species. The finches on the Galapagos Islands are a perfect example of this because they seemed to derive from the same basic finch through adapting to different diets and evolving different shaped bills. This observation will later contribute to my Theory of Evolution.
