Ive often joked that PimpYourMat is fitness for introverts. The more I educate myself in introverts (of which, I am one) the more I realize what a wonderful fit PYM can be for us because: 1. Its all about deliberate practice (I say it daily, its a practice). 2. Its done in your own time in your own space for the maximum amount of comfort and true learning (no distractions of a classroom, no added noise, no one looking at you). 3. You can go directly to the part that is most challenging to you and get guidance (from me) and practice at your own pace (press pause when you need to). 4. Self motivated work- always produces better benefit. I have said for years private training is a waste because of you really are honest most of it in the world is filled with socialization and little actual work. Theres a grand capacity to procrastinate. Ive been asked many times what I think is more results producing: my 15 years of teaching in class or private sessions OR via online with my site. Hands down, more transformations have happened in PYMs 21 months than in my last 15 years. Its calm, focused, no crazy music, no bulls#*~t editing, no wasted repetitions. I believe PYM is a needed movement in fitness were all being sold that to change our health we have to hurt, be loud and be beat up. Relentlessly. You dont. Embrace yourself. Be kind to your body. Gain awareness of your system and go on a journey with it. Thats what I did. It changed my life. Honor you. #onthemat
