Ive only been a member of this group a few days, but I am detecting a couple of major areas of disagreement among commenters. There seems to be those who like a dirty fry up; they dream of egg yolk running into bacon fat and bean juice, all soaked up in toast. Eggs easy over of scrambed are fine, as are piles of bubble rather than neat hash browns or waffles.There are others (the majority) who hate this and insist on separation of ingredients, of fried eggs with lilly white whites, no sauce, neat triangles of toast on a separate plate. The dirty brigade also tend to be happier with non standard additions, like oatcakes, biscuits, curried beans, hot sauce, foreign sausages and the like, whereas the tidies prefer mandatory presence of all the staples of a traditional english breakie. Both traditions have their place. Where are you on the scale of 1-10? I am a filthy 9, bring on the wierd stuff, and so long as it looks better on the plate than it will coming out Ill eat it.
