Ive posted controversial topics on here before & lately have just wanted to keep this page positive, clean & inspirational but I saw this situation on the train & it literally brought tears to my eyes. I had to share... Riding the train home I saw a mother w 3 kids come on. The oldest a boy about 7 w two younger girls about 5 & 3. Next thing I see the boy & the older of the two girl fighting over a piece of rope. Both tugging on it bc each wanted it. The mother isnt really doing anything & next I see the young girl on the floor & the boy kicks her in the face to have the edge of getting the rope. She finally gives up, moves away & the mother slaps her while the boy, all smiles, goes back to eating fries w the youngest & holding the rope. I had my earbuds in & not sure if the young girl did something wrong & should be reprimanded if she did BUT that boy should also have been scolded for kicking his sister in the face. A young boy now thinks its ok to kick a girl in the face. And whats wrong w the mother that she sees no problem with this incident!? This is why we have problems like whats happening in the NFL right now. I know Im not a parent & I pray Im blessed to be one, one day. I dont live in a bubble thinking parenting is easy, but children should be taught to resolve issues wo fighting, esp physically!! I beg the parents today... As someone who is still trying to find that kind & confident gentleman... mothers raise your boys to be fine men & fathers teach your girls to be ladies both with love and affection.
