Ive posted this photo and information before but I think it was as a comment in a post. By way of a special request, here it is again. My lightbox is made from sheets of white foam core board glued together with a hot melt glue gun. I aim the flash straight up so the light hits the subject from all directions. If its something like a wasp or a quick moving beetle, Ill put them on a piece of foam board with the clear glass bowl over them. That way I can let them settle down and move the foam around to get the bug facing the way I want it to. Once the bug has calmed down, position the camera, remove the bowl and shoot fast. I use the flash cord shown in the photo if the subject is relatively large. That way I can move the camera farther away from the subject and still have the flash in the box. That thing clipped to the side of the box is an LED headlamp and it helps when focusing
