Ive quite often been asked what chords I play in Darkside and have been asked again today. Im not sure it helps much to just name the chords so some time ago I made a short video demonstrating what I play. I didnt go overboard on the quality :) I made it the after I was asked the first time, and kept the quality low so I could email the file. That version didnt have the chord shapes on. Ive added those today. Some of it is just striking 2 or more strings instead of all 6, so you have to be careful there. What Ive done is, at the end of the video, play it much slower and add the chord shapes to the video to help with finger positions. It also gives the names of the chords. Youll notice that, inbetween the C6 & D9 shapes, I drop the E on the B-string down to Eb before I play D9. That chord is not included here, but its basically just Cm - but only striking the 2nd, 3rd & 4th strings.
