Ive ranted about this before, but now that Ive started the process of looking for a job in a new city, I am still absolutely disgusted by how many interns places are looking to hire. One cultural institution has zero listings for actual jobs, but is looking for FOURTEEN interns. I understand not having $$ for actual positions, but if you need fourteen interns to function then your institution obviously needs to recalibrate its finances, procure grant money, or just deal with being smaller and not offering as much.
