Ive read several books about bees. This thing that is called colony collapse disorder (which is largely caused by toxic farming chemicals, monocropping, and GMOs) is something so many people still dont know about, but a lot of the food they eat is because of bees pollinating plants. If the bees keep dying off at current rates, the ability of wildlife and people to survive looks dire. Butterflies and birds are also pollinators, and their populations are also declining quickly on a global scale.
