Ive read that the Black community is considering boycotting Black Friday due to the decision made in Fergusen... Had a discussion with my mom about it and it seems dumb to me... So, Im supposed to show strength as a black community by not doing it??? So what will I do then?? Eat more turkey, watch the Bears game, drink some more beer, socialize with da fellas??? Am I deliberately placing the blame (oh my bad) showing strength for an event that has absolutely shit to do with why this young black man was killed?? How about if Black Friday doesnt do well and the people who come to depend on those overtime checks to pay for the gifts they want to purchase their children gets cancelled or to earn an extra dollar to get over the hump. Black Friday gets cancelled in the future due to poor sales and turnout... Sales for items skyrocket and become unaffordable... The economy gets unstable and u know the rest...... How about this??? Look at writing your congressman regarding appropriate jury selection of peers....... Upseating judges who allowed the justice system to fail...(that would require u to vote people)... Peaceful protest... Prayer and keeping God 1st in your life....
