Ive realised that in the past couple of days that my sense of sarcasm and judgement is not unique, but common among Egyptians; that we share a cruel sense of bitterness and a need to look unfavourably upon others who are different from us. The difference may be in how our opinions are expressed and what we consider as norm. But our sense of worth is somehow dependant on others being unworthy ... Quite repulsive
