Ive received a few emails from folks wanting to know more about my family and what theyre like. Well, I have three cousins on Mamas side. Mama has one sister and we all grew up in the same area and seeing each other pretty often. The two boys have scattered to the winds, Jason Cage is a big old DJ in Chicago (you heard him if you listened to my Southern Plate podcast, he did the intros and commercial breaks) and his brother, Dave, lives in Seattle and drives around in a time machine. The link below is a news clip that just came out featuring him and his unique hobby:) Neither one of the boys has the slightest trace of a Southern accent now but I promise they were raised in Alabama. Their sister, my closest cousin, lives in Nashville. I dont get to see her as often as Id like but she whoops up on me pretty hard on a telephone trivia game we play. Cindy, you should give old people a break. You dont HAVE to get every answer right, ya know :)
