Ive said it hundreds of times....politics is not built for the weak and faint of heart. Its for the strong and diligent. Politics is the central nerve system of a global society which determines how you live, how breathe and how you perceive the environment around you, whether or not you choose to admit it or realize it. All of this hypocritical bawling and complaining I have been seeing about dirty politics and campaigning is a mute subject. Those of us that have been around the arena long enough ( forefront or background) knows it comes with the territory. It didnt start in USVI and it wont in end in the USVI, in fact, I will venture to state that this election is tame compared to the elections of 06 and 10. For example, lest we forget, in 2006 entire families were investigated by private investigators hired by the opponent, in 2010 an opponent was set-up, arrested and had to stand trial for a crime he didnt commit, websites were made to damage, slander and defame the character of the opponents, family members and supporters. I, too, was privy to information that I was being investigated by a hired private investigator, of course, nothing salacious was found. Its like water off a ducks back, once you are able to recognize the climate, only then are you capable of controlling it. Also, any friend that you have lost due to political-sides and battles was never a friend in the first place. Be grateful that they are gone, GOD works in mysterious ways.
