Ive said it once. I could say it a thousand times over. My friends and family hear me. The people that we entrust our most treasured, our children, do not. I wont call them possessions. We do do not own them. The government says they do once what women gave birth to, men helped to create, both nurtured, make that decision to protect this nation from foreign aggression. Uncle Sam is such an unassuming name. But he holds quite the power over all of us. He determines where and when the young men and women that have pledged to protect THIS COUNTRY from both foreign and domestic threats will be sent. But then Uncle Sam can shut down the government at will and cease to pay benefits to those same deserving members of service or families. And Uncle Sam collects taxes from his relatives, the American public, but at disproportionate rates so that the loop holes benefit the VERY WEALTHY, and put hardships on the Middle and Lower income bracket wage earners. Thus creating the LARGEST GAP IN HISTORY between the most wealthy and the middle/lower income people. And Uncle Sam is such a swell guy. He pays life-time benefits to retired members of Congress. Yet the GOP decries the people that have fought all their working live to gain benefits through the unions, so that when they retire they will have a retirement fund. So what is GOOD FOR UNCLE SAM IS NOT GOOD FOR COUSIN JOHN.
