Ive said this since the draft, and Im repeating it today. Johnny - TopicsExpress

Ive said this since the draft, and Im repeating it today. Johnny Manziel simply does not have the correct skill-sets at the moment to play in the NFL. He cannot play the same backyard ball he played in college and expect to survive very long playing against fast, hungry professionals. His pocket presence and downfield awareness are simply not up to the level they need to be. He has not yet adjusted to the speed of the game, cannot seem to read a defense and panics in the pocket. Instead of stepping up and through pressure, he takes one read and rolls out never moving through his progressions. His fundamentals are shaky as poinoted out by Greg Cosell in his analysis, throwing off his back feet, not squaring his shoulders and throwing w/ his arm instead of driving the ball w/ his body. I am not sure where the Browns go from here, but Johnny has shown me nothing to lead me to believe that he is ready to lead an NFL team. Please discuss.
