Ive seen a lot of anger from people at the media about some of the coverage relating to the Sydney siege yesterday. Some of it made my stomach churn too. But amid all of that, there were plenty of journos and editors making some of the most ethically challenging decisions of their careers yesterday and a lot of those made ended up being the right ones. It is worth keeping in mind that a whole range of people are going to be traumatised by what took place yesterday including some in the media.
