Ive seen a lot of dialogue about the typing protocol for spaces at the end of a sentence. Many insist that only one space after ending punctuation is appropriate. Feeling nerdy, I looked up the Armys guidance on the subject. According to Army Regulation 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence (17 MAY 2013), insert two blank spaces after ending punctuation (for example, a period or a question mark [page 6, paragraph 1-37, b(9)]. For the one blank space zealots out there, Im sticking with the Army reg.
