Ive seen a lot of posts lately, or should I say pictures and memes of other peoples posts, about not raising the minimum wage. First of all, if you cant articulate your own thoughts on the issue please be quiet. Second, the people you are fighting against are your friends, neighbors, future children and grandchildren. It must be nice as someone with an established career to talk shit about minimum wage workers. Comments like when I was a kid I worked minimum wage, but then I moved on. The problem with that is your minimum wage job back in the 70s and 80s was worth 20x what todays minimum wage is worth. The workers today are more productive then you were, they get paid less because in real dollars they can buy less with the money they are paid. Thirdly, the people you are backing and fighting for are the owners and CEOs of multi-Billion dollar companies, with fast food being the spear head of the protest. The minimum wage shouldnt be viewed as the minimum a person should legally be paid for their work, but rather the minimum a person working 40 hours a week needs to survive above poverty. Please stop re-posting your FOX NEWS and tea party propaganda and look into the matter yourself. This is not a direct attack on you Joe, I love you bunches. MOAR WAGES!!!
