Ive seen alot of weather prognosticators predicting a catastrophic winter. I just dont see it. Overall we are shifting into a dry winter pattern which will for the most part create colder then normal temps but far less precip. At this point there is no possible way to predict what winter will hold unless you go by caterpillar or moon cycles which is well is just plain silly. So these talking heads on tv are just putting bs long range forecasts out there which are being spit out by a computer that really only has about 20 yrs of data to go off. I will be putting my forecast (my best guess) off of the data I like to study. Which usually gets me dramatically closer then the clowns in tv. Just give til mid-late october thats when I put mine out last year. And I was spot on right down to predicting major storms. Nov-March is my fav time of year to study weather. For those that care im on it.
