Ive seen more than enough darkness in my life, feel the darkness enclosing upon me more often than is good for me and that is why I purposely find the good and the positive in life. Life is never as long as you think it will be, filled with trails and tribulation, nothing can change this everybody faces challenges in life. But how we react to a situation directs much of how we experience lifes rough and tumble. So we can make a choice, we can either see it as a challenge to defend ourselves from others and from harm, or we can see it as mainly an opportunity to make the most of each experience and try and feel empathy and compassion for others. We never know what paths are being tread or have been tread by others, so the idea that we should harm none but take no shit seems to me the entirely wrong perspective. Sometimes people will treat us badly, sometimes they will try and take advantage of us, but we shouldnt assume this is the case and we better serve ourselves and others by being co-operative rather than combative, inclusive rather than exclusive. This holiday season and through the turning of the wheel of the year may we remember and promote this simple message that all you need is love.
