Ive seen some of my liberal friends post this image. I could be wrong but I believe the intent is to shame people who are in favor of guarding our borders and not allowing uncontrolled ILLEGAL infiltration. Paradoxically what this one simple image actually speaks volumes about is what is inevitable if your borders are NOT secure. Gruber-like rhetoric ignores the fact that the Native American population itself emigrated from other parts of the world, quite possibly eliminating any Native Americans they may have come across. More importantly the Native American Nation was not, in any sense of the word, an actual nation. These pictures only dumb down the issue. Heres a reality check: at least some ancestors of the mexican contingent of the illegals obama is trying to convert themselves infiltrated North America before. In Mexico. And, honestly, brutally interacted with the Native American population already residing there when they came. Did the spanish try to assimilate? Do modern Mexicans speak Aztek? Ah, no they dont. Why did the Spanish come to what is now Mexico? To take the riches other societies worked to build, gold, it was all about gold. How did the original inhabitants, Mexicos Native Americans, who had all of the riches make out? A good percentage were slaughtered by the spanish, tortured, mutilated, and raped. Now??? Today over 72% of the indigenous people are impoverished according to the UN [ google it dont take my word for it]. I prefer to not allow history to repeat itself.
