Ive seen some really great films lately, but nothing that has made me feel quite so proud to be a part of the human race as this film did. With Islamic State chopping off everyones heads, and Boko Haram either raping girls or chopping off everyone elses heads, and the suicide bombers trying to finish off whats left of us after that . . . the news can really start to convince you that we are doomed indeed. In fact the news is so bad that if youre not careful it will get into your spirt and start to depress you, even without you realising how much it is contributing to your overall state of mind. This movie PRIDE is the perfect antidote to every bad newscast youve ever seen in your life. Its hilarious, poignant, moving, inspiring, uplifting, thoroughly British, brilliantly acted, and based on a true historical event that was just too good for anyone to ever tell us about because for some reason nobody ever wants to talk about the good stuff we humans are capable of when we work TOGETHER instead of against each other. Do yourself a favour and watch this film with a bunch of good friends as soon as possible, and feel proud to a part of the human race again! You will thank me, I swear!
