Ive seen the trailer for the movie Selma several times now. Im sure Ill see it when it opens. It looks like a terrific movie, about an important man and important events at a difficult time in our nation racially - that happened when I was five years old. That was 50 years ago. Today our President is black. Our Attorney General is black. Our National Security Advisor is black. Our Director of Homeland Security is black. Yet folks on the political left are selling fraudulent stories to push the narrative that America is deeply racist nation. Trayvon Martin is not tragically dead because he was black, as the narrative went. He is tragically dead because he assaulted and savagely beat an armed man who was merely calling 911 about suspicious behavior. Michael Brown is not tragically dead because he was black. He is tragically dead because he robbed a store, assaulted the clerk, assaulted the responding police officer, and then charged back for more. Antonio Martin is not dead because he was black, but because he pulled a gun on a responding police officer and pointed it at him. Eric Garner is not dead because he was black, but because he was a large man with serious health issues who resisted his 32nd arrest. Now we have people in the streets and in malls, and thugs shooting at cops, because of false narratives being sold that America - and are cops - is deeply racist. Selma hits theaters on January 9th, right on top of the fraudulent marches that are being stirred up by the media and the mob agitators like Al Sharpton, and by the political left. That, predictably, is not going to end well... Prayers for peace...which the No Justice No Peace crowd does not want. https://youtube/watch?v=x6t7vVTxaic
