Ive sent this to the Burnley Express. Im hoping they pick up on this and print and publish Willows updated poster … please share if you can. Thank you Please can you share this poster on your page and try and generate interest in getting Willow home? Willow is a rescue pup, and is sister to my rescue Mac. Both had an awful start to life, kept in a shed with 19, yes 19, puppies for the 1st 8 months of their lives. Six of these puppies, including Willow, were signed over to Labrador Rescue based at Eccleston and were in an appalling state, grossly under socialised and malnourished. They have all been rehomed now and although they all have issues are thriving. Sadly, shy little Willow got spooked by two dogs in Scott Park on Monday afternoon and bolted whilst still attached to her lead. She has been missing since that time with only one possible sighting of a small back dog with a lead attached running like its tail was on fire towards Burnley cemetery at approximately 5pm Monday. She was in the care of her grandma as her owners are abroad on a family holiday, and all of them are completely distraught at their loss. We have been over to Burnley today to help in the search for what will, by now, be a very frightened, very hungry little girl. Unless, some well meaning member of the public has taken Willow in, not realising by law they must inform the dog warden. Based on this myself and Abi Edwards are returning to Burnley tomorrow (Wednesday) and plan to paint your town red with posters! I attach a copy of this poster if youd be able to put on your Facebook page? Little Willows disappearance has now gone national, Dogs Today have published her poster as have Police Alerts but we really need all the help we can get closer to home. Can you please, please help us get her back where she needs to be? Its her 1st birthday imminently and she needs to be with her family. Thank you for taking the time to read this. A reward has been offered for her safe return. Lynn Molloy
