Ive shared these facts from various sources many times with people making bigoted and false claims that people getting food stamps (the SNAP program) are lazy people. You know what, it makes no difference. They just go on ranting and lying and spreading false propaganda about food stamp recipients. Some of them are just angry because they didnt qualify for the program, some are resentful of anyone who gets help of any kind even to the point that they think its OK for poor peoples kids to go hungry because its their parents fault they dont make more money. Some insist they know somebody who knows somebody that was ripping off the government , and had plenty of money yet were getting food stamps and thats proof (?) enough for them. Then there are people I know who are just so contaminated with right wing political propaganda that no matter what facts I present to them they have told me my facts are all lies from liberal bleeding hearts, and after all they get their information from Rush Limbaugh, so they know Im lying! There are millions of people out their infected with the vicious disease of I got mine and I dont want one red cent of it to help anyone less fortunate. Scary times we live in when there are humans everywhere infected with something much worse than being zombies.
