Ive shared this post last week as those youngsters from Gaza took part of the programme , but I am amazed how many people have viewed this clip of theirs in he programme, within one week it exceeded 5 millions ... look /// Ive just watched this and I am sharing this with you while I’m crying... those 4 kids from Gaza, travelled from Gaza to Lebanon via Egypt to take part of the famous show Arabs got talent... they went through hell to get out of Gaza to reach Lebanon, as they explained in the clip here. Egypt closes the only crossing point which connect Gaza with the outside world, Rafah Border, they attempted to leave Gaza via Rafah border 3 times and failed to cross out of Gaza, then eventually they’ve managed to leave Gaza via Rafah border in the 4th attempt. Egyptian authority did not allow them to stay in Egypt until the time for their flight to Lebanon, but they scored them from Rafah border with other Palestinians to Cairo airport, where they spent one night sleeping inside the airport, then finally they made it to Lebanon. they talked about whats happened in Gaza during the 51 days of Israeli barbaric war in Gaza, and they said during the last 5 days of ceasefire during the war that they went out of their homes heading to the local studio to record the clip to be sent as part of their application to enter this competition, they talked about the destruction theyve witnessed, about how scared they were, and how close the death was to them.... but then they said they just wanted to sing and play music. Why I am crying???!!.... because all what I can see is innocent kids from Gaza, who could have easily been indiscriminately killed just like all the other 100s and 100s of kids in Gaze who were slaughtered by Israel, and by miracle theyve survived... I am crying because I can see their desire to reach out to the outside world and have a chance to sing and simply be happy.... look at them while theyre performing... one of the little boys broke into tears while playing his instrument when he saw how the audience and the judges are enjoying and loving the performance ... you can see how much theyre shocked with happiness from the reaction... now do not you think just like me that Gaza 1000s and 1000s of kids like those ones do deserve a chance to sing, dance and to be simply kids ... to be FREE and to be SAVE KIDS ... oh well I think so... I really think so!
