Ive shot with Sony cameras since 2007 (right after they bought Minolta) and have been with them since. When their mirror-less cameras debuted they didnt catch my attention until the a77, a65 and a57 were announced. I wanted to try mirror-less and see what would be the advantage over a conventional SLR. It took getting use to the a57 but after the first 2 weeks I said, IT MAKES SENSE!! When the NEX line came out, I got the chance to try the Sony NEX-7. I liked it but not sure why I never considered it at the time. I guess because of price for it was pretty up there. Recently I added the new Sony a77 Mark 2, a camera Ive wanted to add since the 1st version from 2011. I came across videos on YouTube and one was from Jason Lanier, and his video on switching from Nikon to Sony. Being a Sony photographer already... he sold me on the smaller NEX/Alpha mirror-less and really showed me the benefits to this smaller mirror-less system. I shared it with my friend David Glenn and he just was amazed enough to try the full frame Sony a7r! We both actually enjoyed that camera, enough for me to get the a6000 lol! If you photograph with any other system, check out his video on why he made the switch. Even if youre a Sony photographer who hasnt obtained a mirror-less camera yet, WATCH this! For someone whos been shooting for almost 15 years and 6 years professionally... his video really showed me that the E-Mount Sony is where I needed to go and not just with the A-Mount mirror-less. With my trips to NYC, San Antonio and a couple other trips this year... Im going to take my a6000 and shoot with. I will probably still take my a77 Mark 2, but well see which one I choose the most. --- youtube/watch?v=7wM_5nROeaw
