Ive spent 3 hours researching the death of a young girl named Sylvia Marie likens (1949-1965) who died at age of 16 tortured to death by a family of 8 mother and her children along with a handful of neighborhood kids who would go to this house to beat the girl up for entertainment) 2 movies were released at the same time (an American crime and the girl next door) on her story (a few book also) Ive read all the court transcripts and documents ...due to her death a lot of laws changed and it brought so much awareness to child abuse... Crazy thing.. Everyone was released from prison and some are still alive to this day and living under a different name I...wont...be..sleeping..much..tonight
