Ive spent quite a few days in Nashville over the last two years. I written some songs Im very proud of with some of Nashvilles finest, Heather Morgan, #JTHarding, The Lori McKenna and one with my pal Neal Carpenter (do yourself a favor and get his new record), that Im recording for #SouthWestNorthEast. Ive been surrounded by the amazing community that is Nashville and treasured every second of it...I sometimes think of moving there, though I dont know if Id just miss my extended family in the New England too much. My show there this Thursday is a REALLY special one, because it comes from one of my first friends in Nashville, Carolyn Snell. Her list of credits is substantial but one of the great things shes been involved with is Thistle Farms. Its a place for women who have come through Magdalene, and survived lives of prostitution, trafficking, addiction and abuse. Its a place for HOPE & HEALING, and Im so incredibly honored to be playing there this Thursday. Half of every ticket goes to Thistle Farms. There are 23 tickets remaining for the show as I write this and I am saying here and now that I will buy any tickets that remain unsold for this night, because this is as much of a Win/Win evening as I know how to be a part of.
