Ive spent the past few days putting together a workshop called Lets Talk Dialogue, which Ill be presenting Saturday in Nanaimo. To illustrate the points of what makes for effective dialogue, Im using excerpts from authors such as Nora Roberts, Pat Conroy, Janet Evanovich, Robert B. Parker, and Allison Brennan. And, oh yeah, a couple of my own, plus a few snippets from other authors. I hope we have a lively and productive discussion. Actually, I just hope some people show up! It seems to be a busy weekend for a lot of folks and Im going to be really bummed if I end up presenting this thing to myself!
