Ive started reading and listening to a lot of lectures concerning self-esteem, confidence, team-building etc. At first, I was ready to barf out a lung...but I find that there are many great tools Ive gained from only this short period time. Jack Canfield, Im so sorry for slagging you. This stuff is actually very helpful! However. When someone like, lets say, Joel Osteen, tries to turn the Gospel of Christ into self-actualization business training...thats where I draw the line. It is a good thing to make ones self more self-reliant in life. It is an evil thing to conflate that with matters concerning salvation. Your best life now is not what the Gospel guarantees.
