Ive trained for a year. Sober! One week away from my first (and last) mens physique show. Ive been dieting for two months. Somewhere around 5% bf. Tanning. Jana tana kit. Board shorts. Teeth whitened. Just have to pull off this peak week thing drop my water and carb up right. So nervous. I dont have any unrealistic expectations. I did this for the challenge. I have a great career and tons of other hobbies and pursuits. The more I learn about body building the more confused I get. Everybody has a different opinion. There is no one way to train or eat. As a lifestyle its all consuming. I respect those that dedicate their lives to it. Just feel like I have other things to do. Other mountains to climb... Literally. I think thats going to be my next bucket list challenge. Mt. Rainier maybe. I also have been neglecting my yoga practice. Which is super rewarding and not competitive. Its been a hard road to get here. Just one more intensely stressful week.. Haha. Wish me luck. Or keep hating... Gotta love my haters.
