Ive waited a few days to comment on the unfortunate death of Robin Williams. We have all read the news and offered our condolences to his family, however now we need to turn our attention to the people who suffer from depression in silence and reach out as best we can as much as we can. Depression affects many many many people. Its a disease and nobody chooses it. it doesnt go away if you make money, or get a new car, or go for a walk. It sometimes goes into remission and sometimes doesnt and goes to the darkest places like for Mr.Williams. For the first time I want it known that over the years Ive battled with various levels of anxiety and depression issues. Dont worry, Its under control but its not a fun place to be when its not. It sucks. I know what its like to feel like shit, real shit when all is going good too. Sometimes people have no idea what others are going through daily. In the case of Mr.Williams he was suffering and made a choice that was controlled by illness, much like how cancer kills, depression kills. Mr Williams didnt kill himself, his disease led him too make a choice that did. Remember that most people suffering from this are not A list actors, they are your family, co-workers and friends, neighbors and doctors, parents and partners. It could be you, and everyone deserves better. So be kind to people, think about how shitty things might be for them by no choice of their own and try and always be aware as best you can. Robin Williams will always be remembered fondly as an alien in a egg-ship to me. He was a hilarious and wonderful human being who did what he loves and left a smile on the planet he landed on on happy Days. Shuzbot Nanu Nanu Mr. Williams and R.I.P
