Ive wanted to deepen my meditation practice. Freshen and change it up. My dear friend, Christina Rasmussen, shared a T.M. (Transcendental Meditation) course with me. Ive never studied T.M. My first meditation with the instructor was lovely, but my head felt heavy like a bowling ball as I slipped into such deep relaxation. T.M. has had many scientific studies done and there is proof that it regulates cortisol which affects all sorts of things with hormonal balance. The deep relaxation you receive from twenty minutes twice a day is like getting many hours of restorative sleep. Loving it so far.
