Ive watched a few different videos on EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, also called tapping) at different times and just stumbled across this one and found it to be really helpful. The practitioner, Julie Schiffman, guides the viewer easily through the process. The pace is a bit fast, but overall I think this is really helpful. I believe in a very holistic approach to self-healing and managing stress and that we have many needs relating to our relationship with ourself (which EFT helps with), our relationships with others, our relationship with nature, our relationship with Spirit or the divine whatever that may mean for each person, our relationship with food, with our community and more. I dont think that any one approach or angle covers everything, but that we need to detoxify and release or change that which has an unhealthy effect on us while bringing more healthy practices, food and people and choices into all areas of our lives. Thats my long winded way of saying that I dont think that EFT is the answer to all of lifes problem, or even counselling which Im a big believer in, or ever meditation, yoga or healthy food choices, but that we need to enhance wellbeing and meet needs in many different ways and that EFT can be another good tool for the toolkit to pull out in moments of high stress or anxiety or when tackling a limiting belief or habit. ~ Genevieve
