Ive watched this incredible artist since she was a youngster. She grew into one of the finest painters Ive ever seen. In high school - her art was so mature it floored me. The way she looked at the universe was humbling. Then about 7 years ago (give or take) - she turned to music and she pursued it like a fine artiste. She has played the rounds in the LA rooms - from open mike to weekly hotel gigs - to hosting her own nights at Vitellos. Shes really done it all on her own terms. But she pulled her weight. She never took short cuts. And then, last year, when her piano/composer/bestie passed untimely, she took that grief (and his music) and channeled it into her new album. Already two years in the making, she works a side job to pay for her expenses, she is beloved by everyone who strives to be in her orbit. I first watched this early this morning and was blown away. By the 4th time, I realized that this dedicated songstress edited her own video! Years ago, when I worked for Haim Saban, I worked on a lot of projects with her dad and her grandfather. Her other grandfather was the Dean Martin of South America. Even more recently, Incredible talent surrounds her but she has done this all on her own. Im so impressed by her far exceeding my expectations vision. God love her. I hope you enjoy this very deep song.
