Ive watched this video several times and each time, the tears fall. I cant help but remember when we came home from Viet Nam, how great this would have been. My high school football team all enlisted together after graduation and all went to Viet Nam. I didnt enlist (women didnt do that in the 60s), but I was in the arena as a Red Cross volunteer. Three of my high school friends came through the Casualty Staging Unit where I worked. When they enlisted, each was healthy, bright eyed and eager. When I saw them, they were tired and war weary with horror in their eyes. All of our military need a standing O, a hand shake and a thank you. If you see any man in his 80s it is likely he is a WWII vet. Someone in their 70s could be a Korean vet. Those in their 60s could be a Nam vet, etal. They all need acknowledgment. Thanks to all our Vets!
